I had to come on here and leave a review because WOW this place completely exceeded my expectations. I’ve had Ono Hawaiian before, but this felt like the real deal authentic, full of flavor, and made with so much love. I came in mainly because I’ve always wanted to try loco moco (I’ve seen it everywhere and it always ... looks amazing), and let me just say it did NOT disappoint. I don’t even know how to fully explain it, but you can literally taste the love in that dish. It was so comforting, so flavorful I couldn’t stop talking about it the entire day. We also tried the poke nachos for the first time and they were so good, plus the chicken katsu, teriyaki beef, and Portuguese musubi everything was seriously delicious. And I have to mention the potato salad because that was one of my favorites too. On top of the food, the service made the experience even better. The two ladies helping us were so sweet and welcoming you can just tell they genuinely care and put love into everything they do. My husband and I already said we’re definitely coming back, and I’m for sure bringing our parents next time. Read More
My boyfriend and I visited on Saturday and ordered two musubi’s, a salmon plate and a shaved ice. We met sherry and she was so sweet! The staff were extremely kind and accommodating for us and my soy allergy. We loved the food!!!! (Also my boyfriend is from Hawaii and is very familiar with Hawaiian cuisine and this ... was top notch in his opinion! We also drove from Venice beach to enjoy the food) Read More
We had such a great experience at TNT Aloha Cafe. You can immediately tell this is a spot the community loves, there were so many locals there when we visited, which is always a good sign. We also met the owner, Steve, and he was incredibly kind and welcoming. It really shows how much pride and heart he puts into ... both the food and the business. We ordered a variety to try, spam musubis, poke nachos, the new spicy katsu bowl, fried rice, and loco moco — and everything was delicious. The portions were generous, flavors were comforting, and you could tell it was made with care. The spicy katsu bowl was a standout for us. If you’re looking for authentic, comforting Hawaiian food with a welcoming atmosphere, this place is definitely worth visiting. We’ll be back for sure. 🌺 Read More
Great place for a Hawaiian plate lunch. The poke is ridiculously good and you can’t go wrong with the katsu chicken. Love the servers. Don’t forget your Hawaiian sun juices. You’ll be doing your happy dance wiggle in your seat. We added the 1/2 order of chicken salad and their dressing is light and tangy. Enjoy!
