Located in the Village Center at the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Vista Montana, TNT Aloha Cafe quickly became a go-to spot for locals craving authentic island favorites.

When the original owners decided to sell, there was a real fear that TNT Aloha Cafe — and the Hawaiian flavors it brought to Torrance — might disappear. That’s when Steve Hernandez, a former TNT team member and longtime fan of the restaurant, knew he had to step in. Having worked at TNT during his younger years, Steve shared a deep connection to the restaurant’s mission of spreading Aloha through good food and great service.

In 2019, after years of working in other industries and running his own business, Steve returned to TNT Aloha Cafe with a dream of preserving and revitalizing the beloved restaurant. Shortly after the pandemic started, Steve officially purchased TNT, determined to honor its legacy while adding his own touch. His passion for food, community, and hospitality has kept TNT’s spirit alive, attracting loyal regulars and welcoming new visitors alike.
